the story so far
21 Things I Love, created by Andrea Carr and Kim Fleary is an independent eco-conscious label based in London and Cornwall, launched at Pret a Porter in September 2008.
Named after our first meeting when we both brought along 21 things we love, inspired by one or more of our loved things, each collection has a narrative and is a fusion of our backgrounds in fashion, theatre and art.
Stepping off the treadmill of fast throw-away fashion our company focuses on quality, outstanding design, sustainability and fair exchange. We produce one main collection a year, capsule collections, one off commissions and designer t-shirts. Our clothes are made to order in the UK with organic, sustainable and industry surplus fabrics with the minimum of waste. - fashion with an ethical heart.
We produce clothes that can be worn throughout the seasons and aptly kick off our company with No1. Butterfly Effect – Small Things Make a Difference inspired by butterflies and order & chaos which explores ‘Climate Change’ through versatile and stylish pieces that can be individualized, painterly printed dresses and butterfly motif t-shirts. Purchase a designer butterfly t-shirt and we will give a percentage of the profit to support British Bees.
Our recipe – combine couture, traditional craft, contemporary design and theatrical flair with an artistic twist, mix with passion in a great big pot, simmer till lightly cooked, serve hot or cold and garnish to taste. |
